Ive tried to use so many different tapes to stick the strip light in the bathroom but they fail after few months. Whats the best way to stick a strip light in bathroom?

I image silicone would work, its pretty water proof and when applying you can just put the occasional dot and push the strip into it. Note that the strip itself may fail if in a constantly humid atmosphere, however
