Hi All,

I have purchased an LED ceiling for my daughters bedroom. I have attached a picture of the old ceiling light and the new LED light. The old light fitting doesn't indicate what is neutral and what is Live. The new light fitting has a connection for Live and Neutral as per the picture. Looking at the wiring to the old light (see picture) is anyone able to tell me whether wire connection 1 or wire connection 2 goes to the neutral on the new light fitting or does it not matter?

Appreciate any advise you can give. Thanks

The two Black wires together will be Neutral - to Blue on the new light, and -

the other single Black wire will be the Switched Live - to Brown on the new light.

Red wires only connected together and to nothing else.

Green and Yellow connected together and then to Earth if required.
