LED drivers and transformers.

I sent the following email to LED Hut yesterday:

"Message: Why are you describing LED DC power supplies as 'transformers'? They are NOT transformers which are AC devices. This can be very confusing for customers. Please correct this mis-information."

They have replied:

"Thank you very much for your email & for pointing this out.

I will request that our IT/website team look into this & rectify where applicable.

Many thanks for your feedback,
Lewis"

Here's hoping something will happen.
 
...and if they decide to use a dictionary or common sense instead of an abbreviation in an electrical glossary, then decide to change nothing; will you accept that?

Don't understand what you are trying to say. But obviously changing nothing would not be acceptable and would not be common sense.
