LED Floodlights flash

I've read that motion sensors can cause led floodlights to flash on and off but I just moved into this house that this light has already been installed and it is wired to a switch inside the house. The light fixture from what I can see does not have any kind of sensor on it. So what would cause it to flash on and off?

Faulty. LEDs don't always last the 25,000 hours we are told.

Stray capacitance between the wires in the cable to the switch allow small trickle of current to by pass the switch, The LED drivers store this trickle of power until they have enough to light the LED for a split second.
