Sunak is driving out one of the red wall MP's that gave his party its majority in 2019. Surely a sign of the complete wipe out he faces at the next general election. 30p Lee will lose his seat but is assured of a good job on GB News.

He knew he was losing his seat.

He can go and grift over with the climate change deniers and EU haters in the reform camp

Reform will get plenty of votes, I doubt it will get any seats

I wouldn't worry about them being driven out as I would imagine the majority will be lining up alternative employment if they haven't already got things to fall back on.

They are just preparing for their next gig and going ever further right because what they say makes no sense so they need to keep shifting the goal posts.

They will always have an audience thanks to our press and media.

So they have an MP now. Or is there more than one ?
The others would be foolish to follow unless they have a guarantee of a fall back gig with gee bee news. No point in forcing by elections either, it will just bring forward their failure at the ballot box.

People always talk up rebellion parties, but come the election it’s rare for people to vote away from one due to the risk of the other getting in.

Vote for the one you least dislike but make sure the one you most dislike isn’t helped by your vote.

It’s that simple.

So you advocate for PR and STV.

Our current system is broken.

PR would get a lot of Reform MP's in Parliament, but not power. It's like Farridge talking about standing in a by election, he has not intention of doing so a) because he'd lose and b) his real influence is on Torey party policy. The toreys are being led by the nose by him instead of realising the next election is a fight over the centre ground

A far-right racist abandons another of his temporary parties.

Fair point until 2019 but it completely ignores the massive change in voting habits when people wanted to get brexhit done.

He does seem to have moved from the hard right. As he puts it country constituency and party in that order. Or parties in his case. People talk about taking back control but have no say over the hard right tv stations say and ofcom has ofgone

...When there were still people who believed the lies from Johnson and the Tory press.

Some have learned better.

Nasty racist moves from one nasty party to another nasty party for his own self important reasons...

It will be interesting to see how many nasty racist voters put their cross in his box in the UK's next undemocratic election via the First Turd Past the Post system ;)
