Just a general observation. The reporting ban at Leeds crown court is to ensure a fair trial we are told. No fair trial for Rolf Harris or any of the others,a media scrum every day at court. Wienstien (I know it’s across the pond) led along on handcuffs in front of the press. Why do these scumbags (Leeds) get preferential treatment. Are the authorities playing down the staggering scale of these crimes to prevent a racist backlash. Any group that carries out such crimes on defenceless young girls, whatever their ethnicity or faith, needs to be dealt with severely and without mercy and we all must press home that message ,ignoring the secondary minor issue (in this case) of being called racists. We are one of the most tolerant nations in the world ,witnessed by the multi cultural nation we have become.
I have not yet commented on his sympathies.
I have asked for the evidence that they didn't get away with it.
Does anyone really believe that?
What was their excuse for ignoring similar cases involving prominent idividuals and groups, the church and care homes?

Kkid is doubtless drawing attention to a list that includes some of the terrible long-term abuse in "religious" children's homes by "christian" criminals, and by prominent British politicians and entertainers.

This type of gang grooming abuse should not be reported or put into the public domain , it should be kept private , swept under the carpet
Reporting this caper does nothing for promoting intergration . Serious consideration should be given to prosecuting the journalists involved.
No consideration has been given to the fact that this type of behaviour / practice prevails in some cultures & is the norm .
I note that no Turks were involved so this type of propaganda cannot be used as an excuse to exclude them from EU membership
