Looks like I'm going to have a combi boiler fitted to our utility room. I have been told it needs to be on an outside wall so the flue can go through it. The flue could als go straight up through our utility rm roof to vent.
That said, I was hoping to extend above the utility rm in the next year or so, meaning that we would have to put the boiler on the outside wall - which would actually be inside a WC closet.
This is already really cramped, and I was wondering if it could be fitted outside the WC closet (ie on an inside wall) and have an (approx) one-meter long horizontal flue going, at celining height, through the width of the WC to the outside wall?
Is the Worcester Bosch 37Cdi a good choice of boiler, or are there more economical models out there. I don't mind paying a little extra if I'm getting more for my money - whether in parts availability, running costs etc. I have one bath room plus en-suite and around 10 radiators.
Do these boilers (or others) have built in timers for heating, or are these still external?
thanks
Guy
