Let's not ruin a great story by letting facts get in the way

Am I right as I have watched the vid.. The player offside was the one who recieved the forward pass , not the one who scored the dissallowed goal. The player who 'scored' the disallowed goal was never offside. Are you saying the offside should have been flagged immediately the ball was kicked forward from their half.

Thats the way I saw it.

That looks about right to me too.

As I said, when the ball was released (From their half) the player was offside.

End of story, whistle or flag should have been raised.

Never mind the offside....What's wrong with Cole's throw-ins? He takes ten minutes deciding who to throw the ball to (for which he got a yellow card) and then throws it to the opposition........several times!

Let's face it, as a team, England were outplayed.

England were extremely lucky, I honestly can't see them progressing any further on Sunday, and fully expect them to be landing at Heathrow on Monday morning (knowing the FA, it'll probably be around 3:30am so there are no booing and jeering fans)

Completely agree. So why have all of the news companies (well the two that i've seen, anyway) chosen to ignore that fact?

And were goalline tech being used in this instance, it would've turn a missed off-side decision into an incorrect goal !!!!
