I wonder if somebody can advise on options for level out a floor where the difference is about 15mm?

I've extended a small reception room and stolen some space from a garage but the concrete floor is about 15mm lower in the garage side.

I'm no expert but looking around it appears that this depth would be pushing it even for a bonded screed but it is probably too thick for something like a level compound to deal with.

Appreciate any pointers or advice on how to proceed. If it makes a difference I intend to put a laminate floor on top.

Thanks!

You could get floor ashpalted
If not a screeding compound is perfect.
One like level flex as it can go on at 15mm

I have a 15mm difference between floors that I need to level. Trouble is: the lower level is 20m2! It would take approx 25 bags of 20kg level compound @ £28 per bag to do!

Would it be best to get the concrete people back in?!
