Hi all.

First I must say thanks to those who replied on my tiling query some time back. It's all gone down nicely and we will be moving into the house at the end of this month.

My question today is not for me, but for a mate.

He has set up on his own as a mechanic and the concrete floor of his workshop is a disaster. It is well worn from years of dragging trolley jacks and such like about. It is now nearly impossible to drag a jack about on it. My advice to him was to break it up and re-lay it, but he would like to level it with less manual labour.

Is there a self levelling resin or similar that he can pour over the floor that will fill the holes and go off hard enough to take vehicles and what preparation work would be involved?

Thanks in advance.

Definately contaminated with 25 years of various vehicle related spills and in all honesty it looks like quite a weak mix. As you can work out by my nickname I know what a decent mix of concrete should look like.

I reckon a proper steam cleaning would get it clean, but I have a feeling he'll be hiring a large Kango.

Anyway thanks for the reply, I'll give FBALL a look .
