Does anyone know why the cartridge carrier hits the left hand side of the printer every time I switch it on? I can't install it onto my grandson's computer because of this problem. His computer is running on Windows XP 32 bit. I had no problems previously and have just bought an Epson printer so I want my grandson to have mine. Any help appreciated!

Why is this a problem ? does the printer not print anything when attached to the new computer ?

I can't install the printer on my granson's computer, because when I turn the printer on the printheads should settle in the middle of the carrier but it slams into the side of the printer and stays there. The power button then flashes on and off. It worked ok on my computer, so I don't know why it is doing this all of a sudden. Thanks for the link! I'll take a look and see if there is an answer there.
