Just wondering about the use of 'libertard' - is it meant to be a derogatory word for a libertarian? Or something else?

I read it as derogatory, M. Haven't thought about it to be able to explain my reasoning; it just seems so.
Is that what you were looking for?

Thanks .
It's just that I would have thought a libertarian was a right wing kind of person- free trade, small state , individual freedom?

Or they could try a few "selfies" if the mirror's broke.

Ever wondered what would happen if DIYnot collided with dumber and dumber?

Our very own chuckle brothers along with their overused smilies and clueless thanks.

Guess who i'm on about?

Good question. I'd like to know what an apologist is? :?

Those who think so little of their own culture, country, or value system that any substitute is considered equal to or better than theirs. Also known as nutters.
How did you arrive at the title "apologist"? How is it linked?
How does this tie in with the people you accuse of being one?

It is a word only used as an insult to those who defend controversial subjects.

It is much like 'atheist' which was invented by theists to deride those who did not believe.
Obviously, if you do not believe then there is no need for the word.
