hi, ive just taken out an old light/electric heater (you know the one's they have the heating element around the bulb and with built in switch on a string), now i,ve installed some downlights into a false ceiling. The wires into the old light fitting are just live, neutral and earth, follow the wires into loft and you arrive at a junction box which goes off in different directions presumably to other lights, it also leads to a lone junction box on its own.whats the best way to add a seperate switch to this light??? and also the new downlights have a transformer with just connections for live and neutral do i just ignore the earth or what??? many thanks in advance.... hopefully.

However, the terminal block should be suitably enclosed, so usea small round JB to terminate the T & E in, and connect the flex for the trannies in there.
