Hi, we have ceiling lights in the living room, in the kitchen and bathroom and the lightbulbs keep on failing very regulary. We have had the house for a year and I have replaced at least 30 bulbs. Could there be an electrical issue? Appreciate your advice, thanks, Rene.

Are you using cheap unbranded lamps? If so - try a decent brand such as osram.
Other possibilities are if the supply is on the high side, the lamp cannot dissipate heat or is subject to vibration.
Can you use compact fluorescent lamps (AKA energy saving)?
