Hi I am swapping my twin & e to 3 and e to get a neutral to the switches, so just checking do I just use the existing cable size or has anything changed and you all use a standard size now ?
Thanks
1mm will be fine on a modern installation with 6A or 10A mcb protecting the cabling. Don't forget that if you are running new cabling and it less than 50mm from finished surface and not in steel conduit the circuit will require rcd protection (it may already be protected but check before you start). Also remember safe zones
