2.5 T+E clip will fit.

Just make sure you get a good quality one with a "stud" on the underside that helps to hold the cable in place. 2.5 T+E is thicker than 1.5 3C+E, but approximately the same width - some cheapo clips don't hold 1.5 3C+E cable firmly.
You may even find a stockest that has proper 1.5 3C+E clips but most don't bother stocking them because most sparks don't bother buying them.
