lighting circuit from ring mains?

I want to fit bedside lights but cant get to my lighting circuit without ripping out walls and ceilings! Can I connect into my ring mains and how?

you can plug them in with an ordainary plug, but to do anything else would lead to confusion and possible danger.

You could always have pendant lights hung from the ceiling and pull cord switches attached to your ceiling, fed from your lighting circuit

Thanx breezer but i want switched lights attched to the wall above the bed. can i use a fused connector?

You can put a fused spur in but you would still have to chase out the wall to the switch and light from the spur, may as well chase down from the lighting cct
