Hi, can anyone please advise me. The plasterer removed the light fitting in a bedroom to put up a new ceiling. He didn’t replace the fitting as the plaster was wet. He says he’s taped up the wires separately. The lights and extractor in the bathroom next door to the bedroom don’t work now. He says the lights are on a loop and that they checked the upstairs lights before they left but I’m not convinced they checked the bathroom on the half landing. Is it possible that this why they’re not working. No trip switches blown. Thanks for any advice.

The L and N probably were looped through the light the removed. Parting all the wires and insulating them, will have broken the loop.
