Hi, can someone help with this please. Last winter part of the front face of the bathroom window lintel fell off. Looks like the metal window bars have rusted and popped part of the face off. I am looking for advice on whether the old piece can be attached back on or should the hole be filled with some new material of some sort?
It's quite a big piece - 60cm wide and 9cm thick at the bottom, reducing to nothing at the top.
