Hi, I'm looking for advice on how to rectify what appears to be a missing lintel over the outer course of a cavity wall over a window. The original wooden window supported this area but has subsequently been replaced with UPVC and the brickwork is cracking and sagging many years on. The inside brickwork has a concrete lintel .

Any ideas what to do with this please ?

Obviously attention is needed and a lintel is required so any recommendations what type is needed and where to purchase please?

IG L11. Builder's merchants.

Pick up a stainless steel bellcast bead while you're there, and two CLS timbers to prop it while it goes off. Acro props and strong boys from the hire shop.

Many thanks WOODY, Probably use a IG L10 @ 2.7M If possible and make a cavity tray from DPC . Question please, should I include weep vents ?
