Lintel needed over patio door? (Bungalow)

Do I need a lintel on the external skin of a cavity wall, over a new french door? The internal skin has a lintel for the opening and it’s the internal skin that carries the weight. The external skin has only 3 courses of brick above it as it’s a bungalow.

Will a PVC frame hold 3 course or is it best to put a lintel in anyway?
