I have fitted new pressurised heating system, but the threaded joints on boiler to pipework have slight leaks. I've used liquid ptfe which seems to have discoloured and oozing water droplets.
I realise I must drain down and repair but with PTFE tape or use PTFE paste again but a diiferent brand ?

Use PTFE tape. It's cheap, and used correctly won't let you down. Make sure your turn it onto thread clockwise, when viewing the thread from the open end. Something that is often overlooked.

Thanks Whitespirit. The only reason I initially used paste was that the internal threads on the boiler were very sharp and I thought it would tear the PTFE tape.
Thanks again.
