Looking for 2-3 camera for my house - main back garden - nothing at the front.

Hikvision HD range of cameras and DVR great 3 year warranty on equipment
Swann kit is **** avoid but cheap.
Buy cheap buy twice

Hikvision have security issues at the moment.

QVIS. Cheap, reliable. Look at AHD kit. HD images over standard RG59 coax, for little extra outlay.
