LOAD BEARING WALL?

Hi

I am new to this forum, please does anyone think the two block walls between my kitchen and livingroom look like load bearing walls, as I would like to remove them to open up my small livingroom to open plan.

Any wall looks like any other wall, and the only way to tell if its load bearing is to see if there is any load resting on it - such as other walls, floors, ceilings and roofs

Chances are the stairs rest on the pier/wall.. as said above do more digging about..
