Thing is, for someone of that age, a years lockdown is possibly 1/100th of their remaining life. For someone my age, it could be 1/20th of my remaining life. Frightening!
 
Not a pop at you nosey, but your "plaster nazis" reminds me of the term "parking nazis", whom we at work are frequently stymied by.

There was a national shortage of plaster last spring, so it was more rationing than anything else.

There are no roof tiles to be had in some builders merchants. Whatever has been produced has gone straight to the big sites. I'm lucky in that my BM has multiple branches otherwise I'd been stuffed.
