I'm after converting a loft into a bedroom....any ideas how much the skylight/window will cost (rough guess) either flat or raised?

The roof window or the dormer window is considered a means of escape, therefore the base or cill of the window frame must be a certain height from the finished floor and a certain distance from the gutter or the edge of the roof. There are an immense amount of blg. regs regarding loft conversions. Blg inspectors will advise.
