Loft Extension with Rear Extension to follow under PD Volume Query

Hello All, a quick question please, I looked at a house to buy today, a detached bungalow with a loft conversion that needed planning permission because there were dormers on the front.

Let's just suppose that the volume of the loft was say 45m3.

I would like to consider adding a single storey extension onto the back under PD. Would the volume of the new extension need to take into account the previous volume for the loft conversion or can I make the extension as big as PD would allow with no consideration to the volume of the space created by the previous loft conversion?

Will the new roof of the extension connect to the newly extended roof?

Hi DevilDamo no it won't.

That should be fine then so the extension would just be determined via Class A without worrying about Class B.
