Current hatch is something like 550 x 550 x 18 ply and lies flush with the ceiling. It hinges downwards to allow access to the ladder. I'm happy with it and don't want to change it.
The current catch is a flimsy plastic one and it's showing signs of its age. Can anyone suggest a more robust off the shelf product to replace it? (And no there isn't space to just fit a bolt from the toilet door before someone suggests it.)
