Loft hatch trims

I need a loft trim to finish off my Fakro loft ladder, anyone know a good one that will look good at decent price...these are on ebay but not cheap?

What's wrong with some MDF architrave (or even some 2 x 1 PSE softwood with the edges rounded over) and a bit of white paint?
