Loft Insulation and Rafters

I'm installing top-up loft insulation perpendicular to the existing stuff. Is it okay that the insulation touches the roof rafters?

My roof has one of those 'W' shaped trusses, which means that it's pretty unavaodable that the insulation touches the truss, even towards the centre of the loft-space.
 
Yes it will not matter. Just be sure to bed plenty of it around so you have no areas with less cover .
