Hi there,
I am about to fit an envirovent whole house ventilation unit in my loft.
This will bring air in through the eaves, tiles and other little holes into myloft and then through a vent into my house which in turn pushes old air out through by natural means.
My question is about the loft, we have very little insulation in the loft and I was warned if we put insulation down that we may get condensation in the loft area and would need to ventilate it with airbricks etc. We have the old black sarking felt type stuff under the tiles.
My question is:
If I put the loft insulation down, will I need any airbricks etc in the loft? because surely a steady flow of fresh air is being pulled in by the "Mr Venty" fan.
Sorry if this is unclear.
This pic might help.
