Hi all,
would like to get an opinion on this. I've had a bathroom refurbished and in the process the installer had to reach the wiring via the loft. There previous owners had the loft fully insulated, but had also stuffed insulation in the sections containing the wiring, w/out any air gaps. The bathroom has LED lighting and used a low voltage (using an separate transformer) extractor fan, however we have now fitted a Vent-Axia running at regular 220/240v. All connectors are now secured inside JBs (they weren't before!).
My questions is, am I best advised to just leave this section w/out insulation before boarding everything up again or would it be fine to put the insulation (or some of it) back inside? This appears to be fibreglass insulation.
