Hi there,

I'm looking to rent my house out and was thinking of removing my wood burning stove as it's one less thing that could potentially go wrong or worry about. I'm probably looking to sell in a few years time so would want to keep in storage / in garage and put back in. Anyone recommend a good way to do this - or perhaps board up the fireplace instead ?

Thanks,
D

Temporary board over the fireplace would be the best bet. If you remove the stove, you'll have to ensure it all complies with modern regulations when you come to have it refitted
