Logs in log store have mould

Any idea which department? I've had a quick trawl, but no luck finding anything specific to how we use woodburners in the UK.

Very difficult to ventilate more.....the outer logs are getting sunlight which mould spores don't like. I don't think you can do much about it apart from shifting the logs round a bit which is a bore.
Are the mouldy logs below 15% moisture?

I need to check but they seem to burn OK and they were very damp when I stacked them so they are drying out.

You could do with more roof overhang , looks like it wouldn't take much for the outside logs to get soaked?

In my experience the wind normally goes the 'right' way but the roof is a new addition. I'd heard that the odd shower doesn't impact on the logs drying out but obviously if they're soaked when you want to light them that's not great
