Looking for advice before buying ladder clamps

I have been looking on ebay and screwfix to buy roof rack ladder clamps but as there is so many people on ebay selling them cheaper than screwfix i was wondering are they just as good as the ones screwfix are selling. I know they could be made by the same people but is there any brands i should be looking to buy.

got mine from homebase,only £12 they were £30 everywhere else including ebay....this was back in the summer tho.

The expensive ones don't seem to be very expensively made, I should go for the cheap ones. Drill them through the winder and clamp bar and fit a padlock for a bit of a deterrent.
