Loose door hinges

Hi,

Can anyone give me the name of a good product that I can use to fill some screw holes in my door where the hinges have come loose because the screws are no longer tight. I have heard that you can get a wood filler but I cannot anything at the moment. I have been advised to fill the holes with match sticks but would rather try a liquid filler first. Any help would be appreciated.
