Hi, My front door frame appears to be a little loose on one side.

It is a fairly large frame, 1.6m x 2.5m there are glass panel around the edge with a standard size front door 2.0m x 0.85m to one side. The striker panel and lock are at this side next to the brickwork.

I intended to drill through the door frame into the brickwork and fix using screws and rawl plugs at say 1 foot apart.

Please could someone tell me if screws/rawlpugs is the right idea or whether there is a correct fixing for this or a reccomended spacing.

Many thanks

what ever you do make shure it dosnt pull the frame wider or out off square
if theres a gap behind any point your going to put a fixing and the frame is correct pack out the gap overdoing it by one mm so when you tighten the screw it goes strait

also you only need about 4 fixings six at the most [six is o.t.t]per side
