Loose paving on manhole cover

Loose paving on manhole cover I have a couple of loose slabs as pic over my manhole cover what should I be doing to remove the wobble. Between the slabs was geofix slate colour however this is £35 a tub and can't be stored once open. Seems such a waste to go buy another tub considering I only need such a little. Is there a cheaper alternative

Get floor tile grout. This is a cement based powder that you mix as required - various colours available. Should be cheaper than the ready mixed stuff. Make sure it is cement based and not wall grout.

You will have to take the slabs out and bed them again before you point them up.

Sorry total novice. Will this need to be sand and cement mix?

Yes. I’d mix it wet and tap the slabs down onto it.
