Hi,

I have a Bosch blue (professional) series 18V cordless hammer drill, which have served me well for a couple of years. About a month ago though, the wheel used to set the torque suddently loosened.

I have tried myself to figure out how to tighten it, but cannot work this out.

I have attached two pictures illustrating the problem.

Can someboyd tell me how to fix this?

Kind regards,

Open her up! I've taken a few Bosch drills apart, and repaired them, they are fairly straightforward to understand once you get the body apart.

If not fixable, it looks like you could order another of part# 845. But at £97 it would be cheaper to get another new naked drill from eBay. Or cannibalise a used damaged one that has an unrelated problem.

Yeah, I was thinking the same. I think I'll just try my luck dissecting her and see if I can fix it.

Regards,
/Anders
