Loose TV aerial connection?

john4703 I'm scared of heights, not helped by the fact my dad fell out of a tree and died. If someone's going on the roof for me, it needs to be their job. That's what works for me :cautious:

That is really understandable. As I said I missed the bit in your post about getting someone in. So sorry about your father.
 
No problem at all John. And thanks. It was 1981 so not so raw anymore, but I get the willies when other people go up trees, on rooves etc. I can just about manage the flat roof here!
 
Engineer replaced poor coax to coax connection (inside house) with an F connector and signal strength has been boosted to 79%.
Bit annoyed with myself as could easily have done that, but at least I've had a health check on the signal strength from the aerial, which is fine.
And he checked some other telecoms cabling while he was here, so not a wasted visit.
