loss of hot water

have just fitted new batroom suite i turn off cold and hot water fitted suite turned on water and i have only cold water comming from both taps i have fortec immersion water tank both lights are on switch, have checked fuses, just no hot water, tank is filling up any idears

i assume the hot water is heated from an electric immersion heater from what you say.
did you have to drain the dhw tank for any reason & if so was the immersion turned off.

you have waited for the water to heat up haven't you ?

i shut off water to top tank and switched off immersion heater,
there are two tanks large one then small one on top
think small tank is cold fill for large one?
didnt know if theres a trip switch on side of tank
large tank has two electric round conectors
would there be anything in there
the heater came on in the night but i switch it off when i heard it start working dont know why its not blown fuse

o yes i have had immersion on all day
when i turned on water last night it ran hot
today its cold
so would it have run the hot water that was in the tank
filled up again and now not heated it

if the immersion stat or stats are not too old it/they may have an overheat reset. but i don't see why they may have activated.
