Low pressure Glow-Worm 30 cxi

Hi,

I have a strange problem with my boiler - it's been fine for years.

Every once in a while I have to fill it using the blue cap underneath. Yesterday I noticed that there was no water and I looked at the boiler. It said pressure was 0.4 and I tried to fill it as usual.

I cannot turn the little blue cap - or it doesn't feel like it's turning - so it isn't filling up.

What do I do?

I am worried about putting too much pressure on that blue cap and breaking it.

its probably broken, common problem. the tap will need replacing but best to get the whole kit replaced as another part of it can fail also.

I this a difficult thing to do? I have absolutely no experience of boiler repair.

sod it and get a fill loop fitted
