low voltage lamp holders are crap :(

my whole house has low voltage light fittings (12v Dilchroic). i am constantly going around replacing the crappy low voltage lamp holders. does anyone know of any brand/make they can recommend. i have tried these 2 different designs and so far my conclusion is that they are all crap!

I use these, as the spring seems to help hold the lamp in place. Haven't had any call backs after fitting them.

thanks for the reply driller. but my problem is not that the bulb actually moves; to require the additional clips seen from your link. its just that maybe the quality is just not there of my previously bought holders as when i agitate the bulb at the holder end it intermittently comes on and off. i need a holder which is of very high quality and robust. many thanks in advance

hi guys, i too have had problems with Lv lamp holders in fire rated fittings, where the customer replaces the lamp with the incorrect lamp, with some fire rated fittings you can only use lamps with aluminium reflectors which throw the heat forward. with the incorrect lamp the heat closes up the fire seal on the back of the fitting which results in the heat remaining inside the fitting melting the lamp holder.
