Hi, in our new house the previous owners have converted the garage and extended the kitchen. Underneath these spaces they created two cellar rooms.
In order to fit my indoor cycling setup I would like to lower the floor a tiny bit. It's currently 184cm ceiling height, but when i am on the bike i would need 195 to not whack my head everytime i forget and sit fully upright.
In my (very non-DIY) mind, I am thinking taking out the floor tiles, dig down 10cms where the bike and trainer sits (only takes up 1m x 2m), put the tiles back and bob's your unlce.
I trust it's far more complex, but would appreciate any pointers. thanks
