hi i am thinking of getting my kerb lowered in enfield.
i have got the forms and have been told that the i do not need planning permision and there are no trees or street furniture around the house.

i have my front garden block paved with a drainage channel already laid.

i do not live in a busy road and there is no crossings etc.

i am not near any bends in the road.

are there any problems i should look out for?.

as a guide how much is it likely to cost on avarage?.

it is only for one car. thanks

if the kerb is part of the highway you will need permission from the highways authority, to work at or near the kerb.

only problems to look out for are the itinerant tarmac gangs on their way back to Essex

the work is being done by enfield council. no work will be done by myself.

yeah ok. the council will have it covered then.

p.s. make sure the drops are wide enough for a good swing in.
