LPG..... Metering??

Can anyone offer some advice please. For a job where a number of houses have to be fed from an LPG tank, where can the gas meters go?

Can they go in a standard built in external viewing meter box, on the outside wall?

Is this a standard method?

Is the gas meter for LPG simialr to what would be installed on a mains gas supply?

about ten year ago worked on an entire housing estate that was lpg meters where fitted in standard meter boxes attached to house and meters looked just the same..
