As they say it's like buses nothing then 3 come along at the same time instead of buses we have "bathroom issues".

So our shower has decided we should only have a luke warm showers instead of hot. I've run a tap and that gets hot so it's definitely the shower. I took the handle off (they aren't the best) to check it's not that come lose or moved so we wouldn't have got full hot to cold movement.

Is there anything else I can check? It wouldn't suprise me if I will be removing some tiles and replacing given the luck we've had recently

Thanks!

Thermostatic showers will have an adjustment spindle behind the handle to alter the hot/cold balance.

Your hot water tap will be directly fed from the HW supply but your shower will be blended with cold.

It might be therefore that your HW supply temp is slightly lower and this is causing the shower to go lukewarm with no discernible difference at the tap. It only takes a few degrees reduction to turn a thermostatic shower quite cold and the sink tap can be ok.

Thus, I’d start off with any adjustment available and look at the supply before any more drastic measures.

Another possibility is that there is a Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) fitted to the hot feed to the shower. A TMV mixes cold water with hot to ensure the temperature can't go above a certain point, usually 38 degrees. These have a habit of failing. Likely to be fitted to properties built in the last 25 years or so, and often located under the bath.
