I was looking at putting one of these dimmers in my bathroom, it will be outside of Zone3 about 3.5metres from bath and 3metres from Sink.

Is this still a no no?

Just thinking of the extreme instance of someone somehow pointing the shower head from the bath at the lightswitch and then getting out with soaking wet hands to turn the light off

:?:

anyone who does that needs sectioning. I wouldnt fit a dimmer in a bathroom full stop. ever. But I think you might get away with it there. Fit it above the door outside, with a normal pullswitch in-line with it in the bathroom.

This work is part p notifiable too. I'd use an electrician.

above the door outside, how would you reach it? :o

I was just attempting continuity in the house using Lutron, it's a shocker they don't seem to have a lv option remote dimmer.

Otherwise ill go with the Rako solution which uses RF and a watch type 1.5vbattery to power the device, but as you may be aware it costs alot more, and i think they look a bit home made!

Oh well thanks for your thoughts.

the remote controler may not like been in the damp bathroom enviroment too much!
