Hi

Just been asked to move a bathroom, we will not be able to get a fall on a 100mm soil pipe so the only way is to fit a macerator. The problem being the bathroom will only be wide enough to fit a WC and bath side by side and the basin at the other end of the bathroom.
|Having only ever fitted one macerator before, can I put a Y tee onto the pipework downstream from the macerator, just thinking its pumped sewage and don't want problems with it being pumped up through the basin waste, obviously fitting tee facing up stream or will I have to run another pipe just for the basin. Floor space is tight.

Thanks

I've only ever ran dedicated pipes for each item.
I wouldnt advise connecting into w/c pumped waste pipe(Outlet), no matter where it was or how you did it.

It will end in tears!!!

i.e. The macerator has connections/outlets where extra pipes can be added. Some more than others.
Go to Saniflows web site because theres loads of models to choose for different applications.

Dedicated waste pipe for every sink ....blar....blar....blar....!!!
You'll have to read manufactures instructions but i've fitted rubber connections with one way valves inside, which are tightend onto waste pipes, (i.e . 32mm- 40mm waste) to stop any back flow. But these are typically fitted close to unit.
