A friend has a bathroom at the front of the house and the soil pipe at the rear. The bath and basin go into the toilet macerator, which is really noisy. I don't think the wc can be converted to 110mm soil pipe because of the floor joists. My question is. can I run separate wastes for the bath and basin? there would be no fall as the pipes would be cut into the joists there would be about 20ft of pipework. also is there such a thing as a quiet macerator.
Any suggestions appreciated . thanks.

no not with no fall on the pipes.
and you can't notch joists 40mm for waste pipes.
and the run you need is to long.

Thanks for the reply seco. If I found that the joists were going my way what would be the rules for waste fall.
